L'Ampolla, one of the great tourist spots on the Ebro coastline, has great natural attractions and is known for being the gateway to the Ebro Delta

The Olles lagoon is one of them. This lagoon seems to be the result of one of the oldest mouths of the Ebro; At present, it is home to an important nesting population of aquatic birds such as flamingos, mallards, herons, kingfishers and mosquitoes. The different itineraries that surround the lagoon allow to observe the fauna and vegetation wealth of this privileged place.

And by excellence we have La Punta del Fangar. It is a 410ha peninsula that juts into the sea to the north of the mouth of the Ebro, in front of the Fangar bay, with different natural environments: beach, mobile and fixed dunes, sandy areas and bay.
The peninsula is about 6 km long and 3 km wide, until it reaches its end, which is called Punta del Fangar.
It is an important protected nesting area for terns and seagulls, among other seabirds. It is also an important life refuge for many reptiles, insects, small mammals and some amphibians.

L'Ampolla is a village with a seafaring tradition and consequently offers a rich and varied gastronomy, especially fresh fish and seafood seasoned with seafood broths and many other variations.

The excellence of La Ampolla is found in its oyster, for which Gastronomic Days are held and it is found in multiple dishes: Delta Oysters with yogurt cream, Delta Oyster with garlic and romesco oil, Delta Oyster with cream of chives, Delta Oyster Flan with galley sauce, Delta oyster stuffed shells and many others.

Rice also plays a leading role in its gastronomy in dishes such as: rice with monkfish and crayfish, rice with eel and duck and rice, cabbage and white beans.

The strongest point of the gastronomy of the area are its products from KM 0 and proximity that provide the best flavor and quality to our cuisine.
